Job Title: Machine Assembler

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week (with potential for overtime) with 20% to 30% Travel.
Hourly Rate: Between $25 to $35 an hour depending on experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Assembler, The ideal candidate will play a key role in efficiently assembling custom packaging machinery, contributing to the productivity and growth of our organization.
 

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in machine manufacturing
  • Proficiency with hand tools, including screwdrivers and drill guns
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
  • High School diploma or GED required; professional certification is a plus
  • Basic PC skills, including proficiency with email and Office software (advanced technical skills not required)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  Accurately interpret and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials to assemble machinery and equipment
  • Maintain and organize inventory at workstations
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards
  • Identify defects, document issues, and take corrective action as necessary
  • Rework or repair equipment according to engineering specifications
  • Perform all tasks in compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Install components such as grease lines, air lines, sheet metal guarding, guards, switches, and pneumatics
  • Perform drilling and tapping on machinery as needed
  • Assist with machine shipping logistics
  • Support machine setup and troubleshooting post-assembly, ensuring proper operation
  • Participate in on-site installations and modifications (approximately 20% of the role; negotiable)
