Hourly Rate: Up to $33 depending on experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and precision in our machine manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating mechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
•Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product quality.
•Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
•Document and report any deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions.
•Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
•Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
•Ensure compliance with ISO and other regulatory standards.
•Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
•Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols.
•Train production staff on quality assurance best practices as needed.
•Supervise and guide junior quality control inspectors, ensuring adherence to quality protocols.
•Coordinate with different departments to address quality concerns and implement process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:
•High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or quality assurance preferred.
•Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
•Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques, tools, and equipment.
•Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
•Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
•Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•Proficient in using computers and quality management software.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking quality metrics.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements:
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
•Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
•Manual dexterity to handle small components and precision tools.
